Thom Keppen
Associate Director - Writer and StewardshipThom Keppen is a writer who supports the development of communication material for the Office of Advancement. Prior to joining LAU, Thom was a program officer at a non-profit that collaborated with UN agencies like UNFPA and UNHCR to harness the social capital of faith leaders to advocate on issues related to gender equality and the rights of refugees, migrants, and stateless people. Thom previously lived in Lebanon where he worked on access to reproductive health services in informal refugee settlements in south Lebanon. Thom holds a BA from the University of Maryland and an MA from AUB. Thom loves kayaking, camping, chilling at the beach, and hanging out with his two cats.
