Lana Abou Teen

Lana Abou Teen currently serves as Senior Director of Development at LAU, overseeing development for the Adnan Kassar School of Business while managing a portfolio of major individual and corporate donors for the past twenty years. Lana started her career as a TV reporter at Future TV’s English news desk, where she was responsible for covering local news, editing regional and international news, as well as feeding in special reports for the CNN World Report. She also worked on editing special business reports and investment guides on Arab countries for the London-based Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper. Lana joined LAU in 2005 as Writer/Editor for LAU publications and website. Lana graduated from LAU in 1997 with a BA in Communication Arts (Radio, TV & Journalism) and concurrently from the Lebanese University with a License in Teaching English Language and Literature. In 2001, she completed her MA studies in International Affairs at LAU with her thesis tackling Sustainable Human Development in Postwar Lebanon. Lana is always proud to call LAU home. She has witnessed its evolution over time, as her father was a longtime faculty member teaching English Language and Literature and Cultural Studies, and her two younger sisters pursued both their undergraduate and graduate studies at LAU. Today, she is thrilled that her daughter chose LAU to fulfill her dream and passion for studying Fashion Design.
