Ghandi Fala

Director of Development – Foundations & Corporate Relations

Ghandi Fala leads the University’s corporate and foundation fundraising strategy, oversees the cultivation and stewardship of institutional partnerships, and drives strategic initiatives that support LAU’s academic, research, and student financial aid priorities. A seasoned advancement professional with more than 30 years of experience in higher education fundraising, he has played a key role in strengthening LAU’s development function since joining the University in 2013. Prior to his current role, he held progressive leadership positions, building major gifts programs for the healthcare schools, leading annual giving, and advancing cross-university fundraising initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held development roles at International College and the American University of Beirut, where he contributed to campaign success, donor growth, and the strengthening of advancement systems and operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and brings a strong blend of strategic fundraising, relationship-building, and operational expertise.
